Alassane Kamara is a French-Senegalese kickboxer and combat sports athlete based in Le Havre, Normandy, France, where he trains at Emergence Le Havre. He is the twin brother of Alfousseynou Kamara, together forming one of the most exciting sibling duos in French combat sports. Both brothers began their careers in Savate (boxe française), the French discipline combining kicks and boxing-style punches, before transitioning to K-1 kickboxing and MMA. In February 2019, Alassane was competing for the French National Espoirs title in the under-75kg category, while his twin was simultaneously crowned Champion de France Elite B at under-80kg — a remarkable double achievement for the Emergence Le Havre club. Competing at 70kg in K-1, Alassane made his debut on the international K-1 stage at the K-1 World MAX 2025 Tournament, stepping in as a late replacement in the quarterfinal against Dutch fighter Darryl Verdonk. He delivered an aggressive, high-volume performance showcasing the footwork and lateral movement inherited from his Savate background. He was subsequently booked to face Japanese veteran Daizo Sasaki — a former Krush Super Lightweight Champion — at K-1 GENKI 2026 on April 11, 2026 in Tokyo, confirming his rising status on the international K-1 circuit. Known for his forward pressure, leg kicks, and relentless work rate, Kamara represents a new generation of French combat sports athletes making their mark on the global kickboxing stage.
