Davide Nacci

Davide Nacci, born in 2000 in Ostuni, in the Puglia region of Italy, is one of the leading aerobic gymnasts in the world and a mainstay of the Italian National Aerobic Gymnastics Team. He began gymnastics at age three and switched to aerobic gymnastics at nine, training between Ostuni and Francavilla Fontana under coach Vito Iaia at ASD Ginnastica Francavilla, with national team coach Luisa Righetti. A graduate in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Bari, he has combined elite sport with academic studies throughout his career. His breakthrough came at the 2023 European Championships in Antalya, Turkey, where he won three gold medals — individual, group, and team — plus a bronze in trio, a result he describes as his most memorable sporting achievement. He followed this with a bronze medal in the men's individual event at the 2024 World Championships in Pesaro, and gold in the group event at the World Games, also held in Pesaro. In 2022, the Puglia region honoured him with the title "Sporting Excellence of the Year." Most recently, on June 7, 2026, in Gorle, near Bergamo, Nacci was crowned Italian National Champion in the men's individual event, and also won the national title in the trio category alongside Francesco Sebastio and Pierpompeo Semerano with a high-intensity choreography that impressed the judges.
