Kaden Brown, born July 25, 2001, in Herriman, Utah, is one of the most decorated American tumblers of his generation and a back-to-back World Games champion in men's tumbling. Growing up in Utah, Kaden first explored tee-ball and taekwondo — earning a black belt — before his natural instinct to flip and tumble during practices caught his parents' attention. Initially resistant to gymnastics, which he considered a sport for girls, he eventually stepped into the gym in 2011 and never looked back.nnTrained from the beginning by coach Becky Brown at Wasatch Trampoline and Tumbling, Kaden rose rapidly through the national ranks to become a perennial USA Gymnastics national team member. He first announced himself on the world stage at the 2018 FIG World Championships in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he qualified fifth — the highest-placed U.S. male in the event in years. His breakthrough arrived in 2019 at the World Championships in Tokyo, where he claimed an individual bronze medal, the first such medal for an American man in 23 years. He also drove USA to a team bronze with a near-perfect pass scored at exactly 39.900 under enormous pressure.nnAfter winning another individual bronze at the 2021 World Championships in Baku, Kaden delivered the performance of his career at The World Games 2022 in Birmingham, Alabama, before a roaring home crowd. Needing a historic final pass to overtake the field, he executed a difficulty score of 10.400 — the highest of the competition — to claim gold in the most dramatic fashion. His tears at the scoreboard became one of the iconic moments of the event. He replicated that feat at The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China, successfully defending his title with a score of 32.000 to become just the third American man to win back-to-back World Games tumbling titles. Off the competition floor, Kaden coaches at Wasatch Trampoline and Tumbling and has studied athletic training at the University of Utah.
