Bailey Mensah

Bailey “BJ” Mensah is an elite American gymnast specializing in Tumbling and Trampoline disciplines within USA Gymnastics. Born and raised in Harlem, New York City, he trains with Cavu Trampoline and Tumbling under experienced coaches and has competed at national and international events since his early teens. BJ has achieved multiple top finishes at major USA Gymnastics competitions including Elite Challenge and USA Gymnastics Championships, consistently ranking among the top tumblers. In 2023 he earned selection to the USA National Team and represented the United States at the Trampoline & Tumbling World Championships in Birmingham, England, contributing to team tumbling performances. He also competed internationally in World Cup events, including a 5th place in tumbling at the 2025 Baku World Cup. BJ began gymnastics at a young age and has developed through junior and senior competitive pathways, demonstrating dynamic power, precision, and competitive resilience in tumbling and double mini events. He aims to continue advancing on the international stage and achieve individual medals at world championships. Off the competition floor, he engages with the gymnastics community and shares his athletic journey with fans and followers.
