Peaxel GW 2026-37 Recap: Van Rooyen Unleashes Fury

The Arena witnessed a statement. Willie van Rooyen didn’t just win Gameweek 37—he obliterated the field with 2.26 million points, a score that demands respect and rewrites the conversation around MMA dominance on Peaxel.

👑 THE DOMINANT FORCE

Willie van Rooyen (@willie_van_rooyen) posted 2,259,606 points this week. That’s not a typo. The South African MMA fighter delivered what might be the most commanding individual performance of 2026. While others fight for scraps, Van Rooyen fights for legacy. Managers who had this card in their lineup? They’re not complaining. The Arena doesn’t lie.

🔥 THE RISING BLOC

#2 Master_Han_TV (Taekwondo) — 1,503,626: The TKD sensation continues his rampage. Back-to-back elite weeks cement him as Fight Sports royalty.

#3 waleedkhalid (Karate) — 1,433,946: Waleed stays lethal. Third place with 1.4M+ is a flex most athletes will never know.

#4 assia_khalfaoui (Rugby) — 1,206,874: Olympic Sports needed a hero. Assia answered. Rugby representation at the top is rare—savor it.

#5 davidvega (Trampoline) — 1,167,882: Vega flies. Literally. The trampoline specialist continues his trajectory toward elite status.

#6 davide_nacci (Gymnastics) — 1,119,271: Nacci grinds. Seven figures. Consistent. Dangerous.

#7 alassane_kamara (MMA) — 834,177: MMA’s depth is terrifying. Kamara slots in behind Van Rooyen with a score that would win most weeks.

#8 Willkroos (Wrestling) — 785,979: The mat belongs to Kroos. Wrestling’s finest delivered again.

#9 seljan_mahsudova (Trampoline Gymnastics) — 381,858: Seljan holds the line. Trampoline athletes are stacking the top 10.

#10 willpenny (Skydiving) — 374,433: Extreme Sports crashes the party. Penny’s freefall paid dividends.

🏅 THE SOLID MID-TABLE

Fight Sports depth (11-15): Rusu_Yuliia (317K), Redwane_ameknassi (243K), and tphilly1_ (88K) prove karate and boxing remain fertile ground for points.

Trampoline cluster: yusei_matsumoto (124K), Trent_does_gymnastics (91K), and melaniarodriguez (58K) keep bouncing into relevance.

Water Sports surge: roni_balbul (106K) and jamie_overbeek (85K) in kiteboarding show the wind is at their backs.

BMX Racing quartet: julianbijsterbosch (96K), TheMajorBMX (81K), Nickcowie20 (35K), and Minipi11 (29K) pedal hard for mid-table respect.

⚡ GAMEWEEK TALKING POINTS

1. Fight Sports supremacy: The top 3 are ALL combat athletes. MMA, Taekwondo, Karate. This is the Athlete Economy—and fighters are collecting.

2. Trampoline’s quiet takeover: Six trampoline athletes in the top 50. The discipline is building a dynasty.

3. edumartinss flies the Team Sports flag: At 240,828 points, the footvolley specialist is the lone Team Sports representative making noise. Rare air.

4. Extreme Sports breadth: Skydiving, mountain biking, parkour, wingsuit—the category’s diversity is its strength. willpenny (374K) leads the charge.

📉 THE RED ZONE

Zeros and negatives haunt the bottom of the leaderboard. aminekaiza (Gaming), mohammedibnousaid (MMA), taj_gleitsman (Trampoline), and several karate athletes posted 0 points. No competition, no points. That’s the rule.

Deep in the red: akai_bmx (-671), melnyk_tetyana__ (-506), owentangavelou (-363). Managers holding these cards felt the pain. The leaderboard waits for no one.

Manager advice: Check competition schedules before locking lineups. Inactive weeks hurt.

🎙️ FINAL WORD

Gameweek 37 belonged to the fighters. Van Rooyen’s 2.26M is a number that echoes. But the Arena resets in seven days. New competitions. New chances. New pain for those who hesitate.

This is the Athlete Economy. Build smart. Compete relentlessly.
